OPK positive for 24 hours?

Has this happened to anyone before? This is my first time using them.. I tested last night at 6pm and just now and both smiley faces.. I feel twinges and cramping pains in my abdomen today....

I have gotten them through an entire day...one in the morning, one in the afternoon, and one late at night. I think everyone's surge is different.

Me too. Some people get up to 3 days.

So when is the best time to try? Tonight? I just don't know if that means I haven't even started to ovulate yet??

A positive OPK tells you that you're likely to ovulate in the next 12-36 hours.  You should be trying for a few days before you even get a positive so that the sperm is already waiting for the egg to be released.  I consider a positive a "last chance" warning to BIO.

Yep--That is normal.  I have gotten 2 positive days for the past 3 cycles charting and so far, I have always O'ed on the day following my 2nd positive.

I like the "last chance warning"! I am going to start using that with DH. Thanks!
