Maybe six months ago or so, I got a book exchange chain letter. You mail out one book to the top person, then send on the letter to six friends. Theoretically you mail one book and your kid gets 36 books in return. We ended up getting 2 books in return, which I guess is still more than we sent. But I was bummed. 

I just got another freaking chain letter of the same idea. I honestly don't feel like hunting down six more people willing to do this (it took a while last time) and going through the effort of mailing a book when the whole thing isn't going to work anyways. Andplus also, I'm having a hard time reading the name and address of the person at the top of the list.

    They always sound good in theory, but I've yet to see one come to fruition.

    We also only got 2 books. :( I was so disappointed. 

    I don't think I'll be participating in any more. Is there a way to let your sender know you can't/won't do it?
