Lion sex and AF

DH and I went on a safari here in Kenya this past weekend. Little did we know, it was mating season in the Rift Valley. We found a pair of lions that decided to BD about 10 feet from our truck. It was a totally pathetic display! Here's how lion sex goes: The male lion decides it's time to go and he stands over the female, who compliantly rolls onto her back. After literally 10 thrusts, he emits the most pathetic, high-pitched moan and stands up. He then walks around her in a circle, with body language that says "I am the MAN!" Meanwhile, she just lays on her back looking unimpressed. Really, the lion does not get his "king of the jungle" title from his sexual prowess.
In other news, I got my first AF in months (with the help of progesterone), and like many Bumpies before me, I got excited and then said to myself "isn't it ironic that you're trying to get KU'ed and you are jubilant to see AF?!" But now I can get on with the business of my first medicated cycle- woo hoo!

Feb 2012: IUI #1 w/ only 1M sperm and a single follie = BFP!
Nov 2012: Little buddy born in Kenya
Nov 2013: Trying for a second, still w PCOS
Dec 2013: IUI cycle canceled for non-response
Jan 2014: Break cycle BFP!

OH, wow! Haha! I wasn't sure what I was going to be reading when I saw the title of this thread! That's awesome that you want on a safari!
Sorry about AF, but there is always something refreshing about a new cycle - it's like a new sense of hope!
