Yes I make something like a Lysol and a glass cleaner. I have spray bottles for them. For the 'Lysol' one. Fill bottle half full with water, the rest with vinegar. Add 15-20 drops in lemon grass oil (got at while foods). 3 drops of dish washing soap
Glass cleaner
1 cup alcohol, 1 cup water, 1 tbl vinegar and maybe a few drops of lemon or orange oil
I'd like to do more, but for now, I make an all purpose cleaning spray with half vinegar, half water and a few drops of lavender essential oil.
This is what we make, minus the essential oil. Just 1/2 vinegar, 1/2 water. We haven't found a stain yet it doesn't get out. Carpet, clothes, tile, sofa, you name it.
Yeah, I think I lost my lavender oil in our semi-recent move, so the latest batch has none in it. No biggie. I love it and feel good about not using bleach constantly like I was before.
Ditto pp about vinegar and water solution, it's the best and I also use vinegar to clean my floors. You should check on pinterest because they have a ton a Homeade cleaning ideas!!
I just use undiluted white vinegar for nearly everything. I keep a spray bottle of it around at all times. I used to cut it 50% with water, but it works so much better at full strength that I don't bother anymore.
