Need help coming up with facebook announcement...

I want to announce on Valentine's day because then I will be 13 weeks 1 day. I am not creative. The best I can think of is....

Baby S**** will be making his/her debut August 2012! Jacob & I couldn't be happier.

Please help!

its early spring, how about something to do with adding a flower to the garden? I had a friend do something like that for a fall announcement (adding a pumpkin to the patch with pics of different size pumpkins)... don't know if it translates to spring... but its an idea.

" the kate spade baby bag I ordered should be here in about 2 weeks... The baby will be here on about July 31 ? ? ?"

I was the one who asked about it before, but I have no clue how to find the old thread. We decided to do this:

... but with an actual bump street sign by SIL's house. It will also be more in the background so people might not get it until they read the caption (which will just say, "Baby C to arrive in August!" or something like that. H wants to be discreet because we went through fertility treatments and have friends in similar situations, so we know how much it sucks to see the ultrasound pictures and Prego jars plastered all over FB.

I'll be 13 1/2 weeks on Valentine's Day so that's when I'm planning on making my announcement. I was thinking of saying

"DH and I are in love ... with our little one expected to arrive in August."

I think I will say "Our Valentine is on the way" And post a pic we took...Its our family's feet (in socks) including our pups paws and a lil pair of booties right in the middle.

At Christmas, I told my family my DH and I got a gift for everyone to share, but it wouldn't be DELIVERED until August...could do something like 'Our Valentine will be a little late...to be DELIVERED in August".

we are announcing on V-day too, and I haven't decided for sure yet, but I think I want to take a picture of my DH and I holding a red paper heart that says "+1" on it and then post something creative as a status (which I haven't quite come up with yet) lol

I bought a pair of booties and put them on the floor, DH and I stood on either side and took a picture and I edited it and added "Our Family is Growing by Two Feet" on the bottom. It's super cute.

This was my original plan, but DH vetoed it. He sucks.

I am really excited about my plan and this is the perfect time test it out (and as long as I dont know you--- feel free to use it! )

We will be 12w and 2d on the 13th. and its our NT appointment. I will be posting on facebook that night:

"(Husband) gave me my Valentine's day present early, but we we're not expecting it until August 25th!"

Then just waiting to see what people say!

We're doing something really similar. A friend of mine is a photographer and she is going to take a pic of us in flip flops (with my doggie's feet too) with a pair of little flip flops. We live in Florida and practically live all year round in flip flops so it definitely fits our personalities. I just have to muster up the energy to paint my toenails now before this weekend...

This is very similar to what we did at Xmas -- stating we got everyone a gift to share, but it wouldn't be DELIVERED until August.
