TTC timeline

We are probably going to start TTC sometime this year, probably start trying within 6 months, which is exciting! I'd like our children to be fairly close in age and I wouldn't mind another Spring baby!

If you're interested in having another LO in the near future, what is your timeline like? What are your reasons? Preferred age difference between LOs? Preferred birth season?

I would love to start trying again when LO is a year but because of finances I don't think its going to happen. I want them to be about 2 years apart but again, it will probably be more than that. I loved having a spring baby but I am ok with any other kind of season baby too Smile

We just stopped trying NOT to have a baby, so I guess that means we're trying? Not charting or anything until April, but if it happens before then, we're good with it. Reason it's so soon.... our ages. I'm 34 and my husband just turned 38. I also don't want to be done with diapers and then WHAM! back in them. I'd rather just prolong the torture and not know any different until both kids are done.

We are going to start trying in May. I would like to have 3 kids before I'm 35. I'm hoping it won't take as long as it did to conceive DS. We want to get started sooner rather than later because I would love to get pregnant on my own without the help of a RE so we'll try naturally for a year before getting help again.

I would love to have another spring baby.

We are planning to TTC again around April or May. I don't qualify for mat leave again until the third week of Dec. I think I'll do one more pack of pills after this one, and we'll use condoms until then. I'm getting quite excited about it!

We're going to start TTC in July. I loved being pregnant in the winter, the timeline of everything worked out really well this time around. So for the next one, would love an April baby, or somewhere around that time.

We'll probably start TTC again next fall. I hate my job, but it has stellar mat leave benefits. I need to be back at work a year to repay this mat leave, and DH is a teacher with summers off, so ideal to me would be to have the next one in May-July of 2013.

Which is terrifying, but at the same time I kind of want to get it over with. If I think too hard, I won't do it.

Looks like we are the minority. We are planning on having our kids 3-4 years apart so not TTC til summer of 2013 - which oddly enough, doesn't even seem that far away.

I'm on that timeline too. I don't really want to be but because DH is in school and I'm the breadwinner we need to space them out. So Summer 2013.

We are probably going to TTC again in 2014. We want 3-4 years between DD and the next child. We like having a Spring baby but are open to most months, excluding December/January.

We started TTC in January. I just tested on Friday and I'm not pregnant..so I'm now looking forward to next month and hopefully a positive pregnancy test! If I get pregnant next month they would be 18 months apart.

I just found out last week that my new job benefits include IVF coverage so I am very excited that we can try again!!!!!

I'm not ready to cycle again now, so the plan is that once I wean and get my period we will not try but not prevent either. If nothing comes of that by spring 2013, we will go back to the RE for IVF again. So happy we will not be OOP this time!!!!!!

i'm ready now but still BF and not AF yet. i will wait till she turns a year and then consider weaning if i'm not already pregnant.

We'll start trying summer/fall of this year to have another spring or even summer baby. I too loved having a winter pregnancy/ spring baby and would like to have one in June. Summer would be great too. We'll hopefully conceive and LOs will be 2 years apart. I'm 36, so the clock is ticking!

I'm one of those crazy women who thought she wanted the next one pretty much as soon as the first one was home from the hospital and hasn't changed her mind since. But I had a c/s, so we had to wait a bit, especially because I'd like to VBAC if I don't get complications again. We're going to TTC starting in March (one more cycle TTA - yeah!) because we're going to the States for 5 months this summer and I don't want to be past about 22 weeks when we come back. I got HELLP last time, and for insurance, emotional, and medical reasons I want to be certain that if I get it again, I'll be back in Germany. If I get my VBAC, then we'll probably try for #3 fairly soon afterwards (we want 3-4 and I want the sleepless nights over in pretty much one go if possible).

We're waiting until I can stay home full time, so we'll probably start when DD is closer to three. I'm also hoping we can take her to Disney for her third birthday and I'd really like to not be egregiously pregnant or have a newborn. We'll probably start trying Christmas time 2013 since I'd like to avoid a Christmas/New Year baby.

We found out that we were expecting #3 in December and I'm due in late August. 3 kids in just over 3 years. I get tired just thinking about it. Pretty sure this is our last baby.

I'm actively researching adoption options, as I physically and emotionally felt completely drained by pregnancy. I thought these feelings would fade over time, but I can't see myself going through another pregnancy , taking care of a toddler, and adjusting to a newborn. Also, it is almost I possible to have a VBAC in Florida without a home birth and I am anxious about undergoing another c-section. I also have always had adoption in the back of my mind. We would love DS to be about 2.5-3 years old for a second sibling, but who knows when we will match. We are waiting until later this year to choose an agency and start the process. We would also like some time to save up for some of the adoption costs and to figure out a budget with two children.

We will start TTC September of 2013. DS and DD are two years apart but we'd like DD and #3 three years apart, so DS is in kindergarten and we're not paying for 3 in daycare or a nanny Tongue Tied

. It would also be nice to have 2 out of diapers.

We are TTC now since we want them to be about 18 months apart. I'm currently in the 2ww and am crossing my fingers for an October baby.
