My mom asked me to come up with some shower activities since she knows I am not a big fan of shower games.
I was thinking a head band, hat making activity. We know we are having a little girl, so I thought we could buy the materials and people could mix and match and make them.
Is this too in depth? has anyone does something similar??
Re: Shower activity
Is it a couples or women only shower? Most of the showers I've hosted have been couples, so we pretty much limit the games b/c everyone protests them anyway.
We've been successful with baby pictionary - where the hosts come up with baby terms and then we split up into 2 teams (usually guys vs girls) and play first person to 10, or something like that.
For women only, i thought it was fun doing the guess the mom's belly size using a string (obviously you'd have to be okay with that) - its hilarious to see how off people are.
I definitely HATE the baby food tasting game - its horrible. Don't make your guests taste baby food. The only good thing that came out of that is I confirmed I wouldnt ever give my baby meat based baby foods. . . NASTY.
I'm not crazy about most games either. i don't wanna eat baby food and i don't want people guessing how fat i am. we are doing a bingo game where people fill in on the bingo board what gifts they think i will get and then they play bingo as i open my gifts.
I think the headband/hat idea is cute!
