Need some talking down from the ledge...

Well, we're down to the wire. I'm on day 16 of Follistim and my last checkup on Monday showed no additional growth, so I'm stuck with a ton of 15mm follicles and no true front runners. My RE upped my dose and we're going in for our final ultrasound tomorrow and are praying for the best. This is the last possible day that we could trigger to make sure DH is home. Ugh. So unfair....

I had told myself that I couldn't and wouldn't put too much hope into this cycle so I wouldn't be disappointed. Well, apparently I suck at listening to myself, which became evident to me when I burst into tears at the zoo upon seeing an adorable toddler interact with a penguin. Ugh. Am I really that crazy? 

We could certainly use as many thoughts and prayers sent our way from you lovely ladies, both for luck for our final cycle and for DH's safe return from Afghanistan.

PCOS--TTC since 11/2010:   
5 cycles of Clomid: all BFN, 1 cycle of Follistim:CP
1 year break thanks to deployment.
1 cycle Follistim: BFN, Lap to remove peritubal cyst May 2013
2 cycles Follistim + trigger: BFN, Gonal F +IUI April 2014: BFP!!!!!! 

Boy/Girl Twins due Jan 5, 2015!!!

    Good luck to you! I hope those follies grow and you can trigger! And tell your DH thank you for serving for us and giving us the oppertunity to be able to do all the things we do.

    I will say an extra prayer for you that your u/s goes well tomorrow!  I know how it is, seeing happy families, cute kids, etc. sigh..  GL!

    Oh hon, I'm so sorry that you're dealing with so much stress all at once.  It's so frustrating when a cycle doesn't go as planned and your body isn't responding  the way you want it to.

    Severe MFI. Me: supposedly all clear but eggs showed vacuoles.

    IVF #1 January 2012, ER Jan 14th: 34R, 27M, 23F. Day 3: 18 embies still strong. Day 5: zero "good," one "fair," the rest "poor." Transferred 3. None made it to blast or to freeze. Jan 28: BFN.

    Lucky IVF #2: Transferred two beautiful day three embies on St. Patrick's Day. BFP on HPT 7dp3dt. Beta 1 (14dpER)=106; Beta 2 (16dpER)=140; Beta 3 (19dpER)=264! First u/s 4.17.

    Huge, positive T&Ps your way.  It is just so stressful and emotional to begin with, and you definitely have so much more weighing in with the time crunch.
