So, with them forcing timeline on everyone, I took the chance to review my security settings.
Sure enough, everything will default to public unless you change it. So, people, make sure you lock everything down tight. I don't want to see anyone's kids pictures sold to advertisers.

I guess I'm confused. What is so bad about it? Just the fact that anyone can jump to any post you may have written in the past? I find it kind of neat, like an online scrapbook. But I haven't moved over because it seems to move very slow when i'm on friends' timeline pages.
What's bad about it is they're setting the security for all those new spanky features to 'public' so that ad companies can find them. All your previous posts, anything you haven't designated as friends only, will be avaliable to anyone.
This is what I am wondering.
I don't think you can change anything until it changes. There are new features that you'll have to disable once you get the new format.
Ok color me stupid. But I'm still confused. The new features can be set to private though right? Can't I just switch to private and all is well?
I feel like I'm missing something.
