That's pretty much what we do. My boys can jump for hours though! They love those things. My kids also get TV time. I don't care what others think or do, it works for us! So the whole "no TV crap" goes out the window in my home. We also go to the mall and walk around. They love the noises and seeing new people! It's very exciting to them. Even a stroll at Target keeps them happy! At this age their isn't much you can do, it's cold in Chicago so the park is a no go! We also play in the bath tub longer! I bought squirters and bath toys.
Edit: Sorry...
I also swap out the toys every other day! They crawl on the floor and play in their own.
We have both a jumperoo and an exersaucer, although now that my girls are mobile they are much less interested in being contained in those. They mostly like to crawl around and play with their toys. We also read and go for a walk every day. If they seem bored, I'll take them to another room in the house (living room, office, etc) with some toys and they really enjoy the change in scenery.
That's pretty much what we did. We rotated through the exersaucer, the jumparoo, going outside to swing or for a walk if it wasn't too hot. And yeah, we watched TV, too.
We are out a lot. We've done a few classes - Mommy&Baby (it's run by early childhood experts so it's informative too), baby yoga class, music class. We have play dates with other moms and babies. We go on lots of walks, run errands...I'm doing this bootcamp that is tailored towards moms with babies. We get to bring our babies and they all play. If they fuss, she modifies the workout so that you can hold your baby.
I also rotate them on the bouncer and exersaucer. They love them! We have time on the floor with toys, both sitting up and on tummies (they aren't mobile yet). I'll put them in their highchairs with spoons or plastic bowls while I do chores in the kitchen - I'll also sing along to the showtunes channel on DirectTV, which they think is hilarious.
I try to get out every day, even if it's just for a walk or a cruise through Target (though that always costs me money!) Today it's nice out so we'll probably go watch big kids play at the playground.
Saving money while raising more kids than you bargained for!
Mine started crawling a little before then. They like to get pots and pans out, play with magnets on the fridge, play with their learning table, crawl around, pull stuff out of the laundry basket, chase the cat, etc. I also have a cool race car thing they love. You put two cars in the top and then they push a lever on the tray that holds the cars and they race down the track. It's great for turn taking, and they have both learned to hand the car to me to put back on.
I think their favorite toys are the laundry basket and a box, lol.
