  I don't have an answer but am interested in the response to. I also have my A/S tomorrow and was wondering the same thing! good luck with yours! hoping you get a great report and have a fantastic time with your little one tomorrow!

  IVF #2.2 March/April 2011 - ER 3/23/11: 12 retrieved, 8 mature, 3 fert-ET 3dt 3/26/11: 3 embies - BFN;
  IVF #3 May 2011 - ER 5/19/11: 20 retrieved, 10 mature, 9 fert-ET 5dt 5/24/11 3 embies - BFN;
  Switched RE's for IVF #4 (CCRM) Oct 2011 - Surprise BFP before starting IVF #4!

  nope

  baby's big enough to spot on their own, no need to pee, they let me go before mine because i wasn't sure either LOL

  and it's a good thing, i would've peed on the table the way the lady was poking me!

  5/06 -2nd baby had no heartbeat at 14 wks.
  D&E - Bled out. Blood transfusions. Week in ICU - Cheated Death!
  Diagnosis: Blood clotting and bleeding disorder, immune issues, & cervical stenosis
  5/10 - 1st IVF cycle - BFN
  FET - 10/12/10 - BFN
  1/11 - IVF with PGD - BFN
  IVF - May - BFN
  6/11 New RE - fingers crossed!
  9/11 - IVF - 4 transferred
  10/13 - BFP!!

  They asked me to drink a bottle water about an hour before.  They said they needed the bladder full to get a good shot of the cervical length and some other pics, and they had me void right after they got those shots at the beginning.  The rest of the a/s was much more comfortable with an empty bladder!

  I would drink water before getting there, and just void if you don't need to have a full bladder.

  They told me to start drinking an hour before as well...I forget how much but it says on my appt sheet. I don't think it was a crazy amount though! Good luck today!

  It took 44 cycles, just over 3 years, 6 failed IUI's in MI, and 1 round of IVF at CCRM to get our BFP!
  Beta #1 (9dp5dt) = 206, Beta #2 (11dp5dt) = 438
  1st u/s @ 6w5d = 11/11/11 = ONE little bean! HB 120bpm!

  I am AMA and all tests on H came back normal
  3 failed IVF with OE and 2 failed frozen DE cycles
  Last fresh hail mary DE cycle starting Feb 2013

  I needed a full bladder -- they scanned for a while and did some measurements and then had you empty it. 

   

  I think its the same reason they do for the ET -- so the waves can travel through liquid.

  I had to drink 24oz before mine.  But she did let me get up in the middle and empty it.
