Right on or too early to test???

After transferring two perfect 3-day embryos on 1/22 (9 days ago), a lab report came yesterday stating they used assisted hatching, too.  Beta is tomm, 2/1, and have been patient, but had two digital tests at home, so I used one yesterday (8dp3dt) and one today (9pt3dt).  They were both negative, but is this too early?  I understand hcg was to start being produced yesterday.  TIA! 

March 2011: Off Nuva, cycle back to "normal" for me: No periods since 15 years old. June 2011:Provera&50 mg Clomid; Progesterone:0.7 July 2011:Provera&100mg Clomid; Progesterone:3.29 Met with RE:No Clomid response, begin injectables Sep 5 mg Letrozole and Ovidrel in the interim month. Cut out running (was a distance-runner), cycling, eliptical. Restricted to weight-training, walking, pilates. Brain MRI normal. Being physically over-stressed is the reason the body stopped producing prog. Late Sep 2011: Menopur, Ovidrel,& IUI (10.10.11):BFN-Great injectable response: 2 mature, 6 near mature, many smaller; Problem: 9 cysts! Dr: IUI too uncontrolled for number of viable eggs & age. On to IVF! IVF ER 12.6: 37 mature eggs, 27 fertilized, froze all to avoid overstimulation; FET 1.22 (2 Grade 1)=BFN; FET 2.22 (3 Grade 2)=BFP! Beta 10dp3dt=291; 12dp3dt=644; HB 3.26!! 174 bpm: Vanishing twin almost completely absorbed 10wks Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker

    It might be too early for a digital. Try a FRER instead and hopefully you will see those two pink lines!! Good luck!

    i'm (sort of) in a similar boat as you - although I had IUI on 1/21. We were a day apart...I tested this morning and I got BFN too. But I still thought that 14 days after transfer was standard? Maybe not with IVF. Either way, good luck to you!! crossing fingers for your BFP, sounds like maybe it was a little too early.....

    You are lucky your beta is tomm.  I had an ET on 1/21 and they originally had my beta scheduled for 2/6 but yesterday I insisted it be moved to this Friday b/c DH leaves for 3 week work trip on 2/6.  I am going to try to hold out, but figured if I was going to test I would do it tomorrow (2 weeks from ER).  I think you might still be a little early.  GL!!  

    Aug 11 - Nov11: IUI #1,2,3 & 4 BFN
    Jan 12: IVF #1 - BFP!

    I don't know about the sensitivity of the test you used, but it's like you're the equivalent of 12dpo. Most people can get their + then, but some can't. If it were me, I would assume it's really a BFN. I hope you're in the minority though and the test just wasn't sensitive enough!

    At my IVF training, I asked the nurse her opinion on me testing before my beta (first, I'll be so anxious to find out as soon as possible, but secondly, I was hoping to do at least something normal..POAS with my husband and hopefully celebrating at home with him)....but she said they do the beta so early that if I insisted on doing a test at home, I should do it the morning of my beta and not be surprised if it's still too early for it to be accurate.  My beta will be scheduled 14 days after my ER.  Based on the fact that you did your FET on 1/22, I think it's definitely possible it was too early.  GL!
