I meant to post this here, but posted in Natural Birth by accident....
Over the summer, I'm fairly certain I broke my tail bone... Either right
before or right after I got pregnant, but I didn't know yet. I didn't
go to the doctor since there is nothing they could do about it anyway,
and now I'm suddenly freaking out about labor... Anyone have experience
with this?
Re: XP - Old break in the tail bone
I'm going to freak you out right now.
A friend of mine had the same thing happen and her baby re-broke her tailbone during delivery!

POOP!!! Why did I attempt to teach myself how to rollerskate? Why?
I have heard of crazy situations in birth. The doula that I often speak to on the phone actually broke her back while giving birth. Sometimes a monkeywrench gets tossed in. I would say not to worry about it too much. If you never went and got it checked out then it couldnt have been that bad. If you can still walk around just fine from day to day, I would say that you'll be ok.
I do worry about my hip during labor. I shattered my acetabulum. Basically the top of my femur went through the back of my pelvis about three years ago. I have four metal plates and seven screws that hold my pelvis together now. Yet, the doctor says that I have no birth restrictions. So, I still plan to go natural (vaginal, med-free). I simply tell myself everyday that I CAN DO THIS!
