I think they are just the cutest thing. I've been thinking of buying them and putting them on the back of my Durango. Has anyone seen any unusual ones?
I'm not a fan but I don't like any sort of extra decal, sticker, etc. on cars.
Also, I've watched too much CSI but I don't like drawing any more attention to the fact that I have little kids in my car. Too many weirdos out there.
This is my exact thought. That being said, I did see a car with alien stickers. It said something to the effect of "My family is out of this world." All the people were little aliens. Different, I guess.
I'm not a fan of those either but I would look on etsy. I bet you could find something different on there and it shouldn't be too expensive since they're just vinyl. The only really different ones I have seen are the people with Mickey Mouse ears on them.
I am not crazy about decals on my car either. I see a lot of those family ones around here though, some different ones I have seen are flip flops, sea turtles, deer heads, owls, skull and cross bones (I thought that one was really strange!) and the other day I saw an angry birds one.
The few weeks ago I was pumping gas and the little old lady in front of me had those decals, she had a lady and 11 cats! I wish I had taken a picture

So awesome.
Those stickers are definitely NMS. They are kind of dorky to me, but to each his own. I've seen mickey mouse and star wars ones that are a little different than the normal.
I guess I'm the only one that doesn't hate them! I enjoy seeing the family ones on peoples cars. We have a tae kwon do decal for my daughter with her name on it, but we've never put it up.

I'm not a fan of the family ones but I do have other ones on my car. I have a gir(from Invader zim) decal on the back window, and I have a Navy decal on my passenger window representing 1st and 2nd classes.
I don't feel like my military stickers bring more attention to me because if someone really wanted to know if I or DH was Military all they have to do is look at the base decal on the front window....there's no not having that if I want base access.

I've seen one of those too, it was like 1 person, 5 cats and 4 dogs or something. Yikes!

This exactly. The ones with the soccer ball with the kid's number and name really scare me. I can just imagine some guy following you to a soccer field, and then telling your kid "Hey Timmy, your Mom asked me to pick you up after soccer practice." I know we teach our kids never to go with strangers, but still, why give someone the opportunity to try, you know?
I don't think there's anything creepy about them. All someone has to do to see I have kids is look in my car. The carseat is a dead give-away, and says much more about the age of my kid(s) then a decal.
But, I would make sure to include my dog. I'm big on advertising about my dog. She's a very loud burglar deterrent.

Guys, I'm not dumb enough to put my kids names under the decals. I just thought they were cute and had thought about buying some. No names. I know there are a lot of fruity people out there. Regardless of rather or not you have stickers on your car, if they are interested in children they will find a way to still be creepy and stalker like. It's up to the parent to use good judgment and not only teach their kids how to be smart but also safe.

Yeah, the car seat(s) and the dog barrier are easily seen from a distance. That and the half eaten goldfish, elmo doll, blankets, and other various toys that scatter my vehicle.
As long as there are no names, I don't think it's too unsafe. If I was a single mom, I wouldn't go flaunting that, though.
