I live in Chicago and want to wear DD but am struggling with figuring out a way to put her in the carrier without exposing her to the cold. I have a moby and an ergo with an infant insert. What is your routine for putting LO in the baby wearer without getting them outside for too long? I also have a 2 year old. I've tried putting him in his stroller, putting the carrier on and putting her in it, but he's outside for too long by the time I arrange the carrier and her and I hate to get her out of her warm seat out into the cold air. Help me with your routine please!
Re: How to baby wear in cold climate?
Pre-wrap the Moby and just pop baby in when you get where your going. I never used a bucket with DS and don't plan to with my next LO. A few seconds of cold won't make baby sick.
I have a Peekaru Vest

I use for 30s, 40s and a Suse's Kinder Coat for Cold, rainy and icky days.

I do! BWI of Chicagoland. The meet in Lake County:) Search for them on FB!
This. I would put DD in the stretchy wrap or ring sling (and later woven wrap) while still in the car.
