I would be up for a Springfield/Annandale/Burke (plus anyone else who wants to come over this way) get together. Are we talking with kids or without? I can't commit to any weekly thing at the moment - "free" time is elusive and pretty much non-existant for me.
If we're talking without kids maybe we could just meet at a Starbucks or something. Or Kilroys or something like that. Evening? Weekdays? Weekend?
Wife, Musician, Fed, WW-er, and Mom of three little kids - not necessarily in that order.
I would be game for something local as well. My availability is more monthly or quarterly than weekly fwiw. If we are looking to get together with all the kiddos, I wouldn't mind hosting. We have a large common area on the main level for indoor play.
The timing is sort of why I asked about working moms, too. Free time is so rare and I am sure it is only going to be more rare as the kids get older! Even quarterly would be nice - just to know some folks nearby and be able to bounce ideas off of people!
Hey Jellisy - if you have space for all the kids to come along, that would probably be a great place to start!
I just saw this. I haven't been checking this board as frequently as I normally do because I'm in the high risk pregnancy unit at INOVA Fairfax, awaiting the birth of my second daughter.. which is scheduled for next week. My oldest daughter is 22 months.
I am a Burke mom, and when not on maternity leave, I work full time. I would love to be involved in a play date/dates in the area. I don't know if I'd make an early March play date, but maybe. And I would definitely be interested in dates after that.
Re: Any Springfield/Burke/Annandale moms out there?

My next free weekend is also the last weekend in February. I am not sure how March is looking yet...
