how much did you pay for your convertible?

...carseats? [or if you must, how much did you pay for your convertible? Wink

Also, is there a Diono (AKA: sunshine radian) convertible carseat that is better? Or are all the Diono models the same narrow width? I just want a narrow one, not concerned about any other bells & whistles. Also, I want them for free.

    Ours were $200 we have a 2 door car so we went with a combi cocurro which we've loved and is slimmer than the Diono. We plan to get a Diono for the Durango and both models are equally thin, the higher priced one has the adjustable head rest/wings.

    My FIL bought ours as my shower gift because he didn't like anything I had on my registry. We got the Diono RXTs. They were on pre-order when he bought them so I think they were $305 a piece. I think they are cheaper now.

    We didn't pay out of pocket for our car seats. Our boys qualified for assistance from our county's department of developmental disabilities based on income and the face that they were preemies. We had $1000 to spend on them last year that could be put towards anything development or safety related. We got the Sunshine Radians XTSLs. They cost $239 each from Wal-Mart, but it came out of our $1000.

    We got the Safety 1st Alpha Omega Elites from Sams for $90 each.  We like them so far!

    We bought the Britax Isabella car seats from diapers.com for $159 each, much cheaper then amazon and a bunch of other online places. They are running sales a lot too, we ended up getting 2 free cup holders with them, and they always have free shipping.

    And we looove them, cute, practical, and work great.
