Newborn diapers..

I haven't been around these parts in awhile but I had some questions now that #2 is on the way. I have a LO who is 16 months that we have CD'ed since his umbilical cord fell off. This is my issue. We had GM orange edge prefolds and 3 Thirsties duo wraps sz. 1. We didn't CD him until his cord fell off b/c our covers rubbed it. So, I'm looking to buy different covers that will not rub or are just sized smaller so we don't have to buy disposables this time around. I'm also looking to buy a few AIO's so normal clothes will fit over them if we go in public! Any recommendations? TIA!

ETA: We also have about 15 Thirsties fitteds (the discontinued ones) that are the smallest sized ones. These rubbed, too.

    You could try the Lil Joeys by RaRs.  Very cute and they have a little dip for the cord.

    Lil Joeys fold down so they don't hit the umbilical cord.  Kissaluvs newborn diapers do, too.  They're both AIOs.
