PSA: Daycare - best places fill fast

So I knew in places like NYC, DC, etc., daycares filled really fast. I live in average sized city in the Midwest. I was surprised when I asked two close mom friends at work today that I should check places out as soon as possible. I called two and lo and behold, they already are full for infants through September 2012. I don't anticipate needing care until January 2013, but they suggested coming in within the next few weeks to ensure a spot. 

Just something to think about for other first timers!

    We registered DS for daycare when he was 4 months old.
