NBR...DH isn't happy but WDYT? PIP

Saturday I decided to go get my hair cut. DH HATES short hair. He thinks everyone should have knee length hair Confused . Well he hadn't seen it until today because I finally decided to actually curl it instead of a ponytail. He hates it and my mom told me it makes my face look wide...so now I'm worried I went too short. What do you guys think?

OH and I found 3 GRAY HAIR while I was curling it! I am SOOOO angry!!

Are you kidding? LOL honestly I like the short hair better! It shows off your face and looks super cute. I really do like it and I'm surprised your DH does not like it, it looks a bit sexy I think it fits your face. I get that he prefers long hair but to just hate it seems odd because it is so cute on you.

Also I don't think your face looks wide

Tell DH to sit on it, lol, you rock that short hair!

Haha thanks everyone! I feel better now. I think my mom just got so used to seeing my long hair or something IDK. I'm a little chunky so my mom automatically thinks that shorter hair makes you look bigger but this cut is SO much faster and easier especially with DD. It's nice to have some unbiased opinions on stuff like this every once in awhile.

You look like you might have a nice chin/jawline. I don't see the "wide face" thing. I know what she is talking about but I really think it depends on the shape of the face, etc. Stick with it!

I agree with everyone else, you look great! I love the hair cut on you And I do still think it's long. My DH is the same...every time I head to the hair dresser, he makes some comment about how I "better not chop my hair off" jokingly of course, but he wouldn't be thrilled if I did (I'm considering it for this summer. Too bad DH!).

And I feel you on the grey hair I found my first couple when DD1 was 3 months old. I was only 27 and called my mom to complain. My dad answered and proceeded to make me "feel better" by saying my grandma was completely grey by 30!! Crying Not what I wanted to hear! Thankfully, now that I'm 30, I only have a few more...so it's not too bad. But I did start dying my hair as soon as I found them. No grey hairs are allowed to show on this head! LOL

he he...that was sort of a joke, but you're right personally, I can't wear my hair past my shoulders anymore, it makes me look tired and bottom heavy. I have worn mine in a bob for the last few years and I'm chunky. It brings the eye up!

Yea i get what you are saying about looking tired! We got married in December of 10 and my hair was waist length. I look at those pictures and I look older...and not really in a good way and I think my face actually looked just straight up fat then. I gradually cut inches off the last year until I got here and now I'm thinking this is best. It's so easy to curl.

LOL! Yea I am only 22...I called my mom and she thinks it is HILARIOUS! My grandmother had a streak of gray hair at 14 so I'm not complaining too much!

I really like it, and it's not what I would consider short. For myself, I feel like I look more put together with shorter (above the shoulder) hair. It's easier to style and you can do more with it. When I had long hair I'd always pull it back and felt like it was weighing me down.

I think it looks super cute! My husband hates my hair short, too. My dad also has very strong opinions on my hair (they both like it long and curly. I like it shorter and straight).
