bamboo vs hemp?

I am looking for a liner to add to my BG 4.0 at night. I have a few Baby Hemp liners and like them, but then a friend told me that bamboo is better or absorbs more. Any suggestions on which will absorb more as I have a heavy wetter!

Right now I use a MF insert with a Baby Hemp insert in a BG pocket.

Hemp is more absorbent than bamboo. Are you trying to find additional inserts/doublers or actual hemp or bamboo liners to lay inside your diapers? I found out the hard way that hemp doesn't absorb quickly, so I have to put it behind microfiber, which will absorb faster, but not as much volume.

I've found them pretty comparable. Bamboo is a lot thinner than MF, so you could do 2 bamboo and a hemp, or 1 bamboo and 2 hemp, to get more absorbancy.

We've found that a one size bamboo insert with an infant bamboo insert works (but is pretty rigid). I find that the less rigid option is a one size MF insert with a hemp insert stuffed behind it.
