I might be on this board little early...but looking ahead never hurts.
This was my first pregnancy, started my m/c on 1/20 at 10w2d. Spotting/bleeding all weekend and u/s on 1/23 showed no heartbeat, baby ~ 7w. I must say was prepared for it after a weekend of bleeding, so that was good i guess. D&E on 1/25, and bleeding has stopped at this point (for now), so that is why I am looking ahead. Just learning what to expect when we are able to TTC again. F/U appt on 2/20.
DH and I weren't "trying", but weren't preventing, either. While the loss was painful, I feel so much more motivated for this time, and so less nervous about all the do's and don'ts. This time around, I want to start charting as well. In a way, I maybe feel that was the purpose of our little guy - we really never discussed trying for a baby, so this kinda forced it, but how excited we were when we found out solidified in us both that this is all we want.
Glad to meet you all.
Re: Intro
I am so sorry for your loss. No matter how "prepared" you are, it's devastating to find out you have m/c. Welcome to this board, I hope you find the comfort and support you are looking for.
I highly recommend charting, as it has helped me know my body better. Most people on here use Fertility Friend and if you click on the link in my siggy, it will take you to the site where you can sign up for free.

BFP #1: 8/2011 ** EDD: 5/9/2012 ** Missed m/c discovered at 13 weeks
BFP #2: 4/4/2012 ** EDD: 12/24/12 ** Born: Charlotte "Charlie" Olivia 12/18/2013, 8 lbs 1 oz, 21 inches!!!
Your story sounds almost exactly like mine. Discovered I was miscarrying at 10w 2d. U/s showed growth had stopped around 7 weeks. We were also not trying but not preventing. In fact, I had mixed feelings when I found out I was pg. But that slowly turned in to excitement and then devestation when the pregnancy was lost. Sad that it takes a loss to make us realize how ready we are.
I am so sorry for your loss. Best wishes as you move forward and TTC.
I'm sorry for your loss
DH and I weren't actively trying as well with our mc but it still hurts all the same. Big hugs to you and welcome to the board
