If I HAVE to wear a tank with a built-in bra, I still wear my reg bra underneath. However, I avoid shelf bras; I hate them and think they are pointless and uncomfortable. Also they flatten my small boobs.
I work from home... if I'm staying in all day I might, depends on where I am in my cycle and how heavy they are. But if I leave the house I'll use a bra too.
Pre-pregnancy I would wear a bra + bra-tank. Now the bra-tanks dont have a big enough/deep enough shelf, so I just wear regular tight tanks for support in addition to a regular bra, and on super painful days, a sports bra as well.
Ys, but I wear the silicone adhesive petals too. My boobs are a small B on their best day, but my nipples are completely militant and stand at attention all the time.

Lol, mine never communicate and alternate who stands at attention.
Yes, mostly because almost any fabric chafes the nips. At least, the last time I went braless (like 5 years ago) that's what happened. I haven't tried since. I find the shelf bra things gave me cleavage, before I had much to speak of. Since Smudge, I've gone up a cup-size and have cleavage no matter what I wear (YAY)

If my D boobs weren't in a bra, I would scare the world. I don't usually get tanks with bras, anyway. It's pointless for me. Actually, I don't really wear tank tops alone... I don't like my arms in them. I wear them under things.
It depends... If it's a fitting/smooth one YES! If it has some sort of fuffle, or somethere where it isn't flat againt me I might get away with it. Othewise I will wear a strapless bra.

In public - always.
If I'm wearing it to sleep, then no.
I think if my chest were smaller I might just do the shelf bra, but there's no way one of those things provides near enough support for daily living.
This.
Yes, I used to, but that's because I usually wore some sort of bra with enhancement.
Since my kid was born, I've been exclusively wearing nursing tanks (with built-in bra) and no bra under my regular shirts. My boobs are tiny though.
