I am a FTM hoping to breastfeed. I will be going back to work when LO is 12 weeks old.
I'm planning on getting an Ameda Purely Yours pump (I'm not sure if that makes a difference). I get that every baby is different and bottles that work great for some don't work for others, but I'd like to get some recommendations of what to try. Ideally, I'd like to get something that I can pump, store, and feed all from the same bottle. Any ideas? What nipples are recommended for breastfed babies?
TIA!
Re: Bottle Recommendations?
My LO does fine with the standard nipples that came with my Medela bottles, they aren't anything special. We haven't had any nipple confusion with them (but we introduced the occasional bottle at 5 weeks).
As far as specialty nipples I've heard that both the NUK brand and Playtex Drop-Ins are good for BF babies.

Thank you all so much for your responses. This probably sounds like a dumb question, but I'm feeling a little clueless about the whole bottle/nipple thing.
It looks like the ameda bottles that come with the pump don't include nipples with them. So, is it safe to assume that most other brand nipples will fit onto those? or are they for storing only?
When you buy various brand bottles that come with nipples, is it safe to assume that those bottles will also fit onto my pump. I wasn't sure if all these things were universal.
Thanks again!
