Is it normal..

to be this nervous before getting beta results? I found out I was pg on Friday and had bloodwork done that afternoon. RE said he would call me today but didn't! And of course my feelings of nausea that I had Friday and Saturday are gone.. So now I'm a basket case! Have most of you gotten your beta results back already? Hope everyone is feeling okay! :)

    Perfectly normal!  I was nervous while waiting for the results of all 3 betas, and now I'm nervous before every u/s. I'm thinking the nerves may not end until I have these babies in my arms.

    Today? As in Sunday? Is the RE even in the office on Sundays?

    As long as I draw before 10a, I get betas back the same day. However, with one of my draws (I forget for which pregnancy), I learned that they forgot to send out my betas with the morning batch, so I didn't get them until the next day. Grrrrrr.....

    I hope you get word on your betas soon!

    Totally normal to be that nervous.  Quite honestly, it's why I elected out of beta testing with DD's pregnancy.  It was an emotional roller coaster during my previous two pregnancies (m/c #2 and DS) and didn't mean much in the end, anyway.  Just food for thought - it's totally okay to say no if it will make you saner!

    Regardless, best of luck!!  I hope your betas are fantastic.  Just remember, that first one means basically zilch.  My first on with DS was like 14.

    Yeah, he was doing me a favor since he was going to be in the office for a transfer.. But I guess he forgot about me! I had it done right before closing on Friday because I couldn't leave work.. But I guess I'll just have to wait until tomorrow! It just seems so far away! :)

    Thanks :) I think DH just really needs that doctor's confirmation to make it feel real! It's been a long year and half full of bad news!

    Where I live you don't even get beta's done so count yourself lucky that you will have some sort of idea of what is going on.

    she's under the care of an RE for infertility. Betas with REs are standard practice. Betas with OBs are not. 

    I hardly think having infertility makes one "lucky".....
