another successful vbac!

2 weeks ago I got my vbac!

I've been checking and reading this board my entire pregnancy so I figured adding another success story to the board would be the least I could do to repay all I learned over here

My provider allowed me to go to 42 weeks and I was induced---both things that are pretty rare on their own, so it was shocking to me he allowed it.

They attempted to send me to l&d to induce a few times for borderline low fluid but I advocated hardcore for myself and came to every appointment heavily armed with my own research. 

I was induced at 2 and 60% effaced and it was a very successful induction. Pushed for 56 minutes and gave birth to a 9 pound 14 ounce 22.5 inch long, perfect baby boy. It was so worth arguing with doctors and stitches! So worth it.

I feel incredibly empowered and strong. It was amazing.
