  6 months 

  We eventually moved their swings to their nursery at 6 months and then transitioned to their cribs over the following few weeks.

  Worked great.

  ETA:  They lived in our living room until 6 months.  Our house is large, and going up and down stairs all night just wasn't an option.  This was way easier and safer for us to keep them in command central (living room).

  We moved the twins to their room into 1 crib when they were 2 weeks old. We just couldn't take all the grunting noises anymore, they were keeping us up. Now they are across the hall. Eventually we will try moving them to their own cribs. They are actually sleeping very well in there on their own at 5 weeks old.

  We had the girls in the FP Rock n Play sleepers in our room for the first 2 weeks.  They made so much noise in their sleep so we moved them to their room after that and transitioned them to their cribs at 3 months.  The night we all came home from the hospital we tried to put them in their cribs but they didn't sleep well so we moved to the RnPs the next night.

  First 3 weeks we slept them in a bassinet in our room. 3 weeks through 3 months they shared a crib. And 3 months and on they are in their own cribs

  They slept in their own nursery from day 1. Their room is right next to ours, our house is all one level, and we used the AngelCare monitors for my peace of mind. It worked well. There have been a few crazy, awful nights where we resorted to co-sleeping but otherwise, they've always slept in their own cribs.
