So, a lot of the ladies on the August BMB are already wearing maternity clothes and some have already shared bump pics. Naturally I'm worried because besides being extremely bloated at the end of the day, I see no difference in my stomach. I'm almost 13 weeks (and had an u/s 6 days ago). I have lost weight due to m/s, which may have something to do with it. When did you ladies start to notice a little bump?

Re: When did you start to notice a real bump (not bloat)?
I think mine became real just after 20 weeks. I went in to my 20 week anatamy scan and thought that the tech wouldn't even believe I was pregnant at all! Lol. And by 22 weeks, it was totally noticeable, even to strangers.
BFP#1 EDD 11/8/11 - MC @ 9w6d, 4/15/11 we said goodbye
BFP#2 DD arrived 5/7/12
It differs between women/pregnancies. This is my 1st, so far I don't think its a bump- but Ive always had a pooch anyways.
I know when its your 2nd/3rd...you tend to show sooner, some as early as like 6 weeks I guess. Ive read on here some women didn't show with their 1st until 26-30 weeks even!
Also I think if your skinnier you show later (from what Ive read) cus you don't have as much fat to be pushed up.
I am 13 weeks and 4 days and I remember back in Oct DH's co workers wife was 14 weeks and totally showing...Im looking at myself going- I def Don't like like that! (I just look more like my pooch got bigger and Ive gained weight)
also keep in mind those stories of the women that didn't know their were pg (my mom worked with one actually) Id think if they had a real Bump they would think somethings up eh?

I'm in the middle of 'transformation' right now :P I am in maternity pants, and have been for about 2 1/2 weeks. I definitely permanently have a bump, but it's not the cute, round, whole abdomen, noticeable bump yet-- it's still a little low since my ute is only right at my belly button. My shirts are starting to get a little short, and I have bought 2 maternity tank tops to wear under tops to help with that.
Here is my 19 week photo for reference

Don't worry about the Aug board. Honestly, I think some of those are exaggerated. Those aren't really bumps to me. I bet in a week or two, there will be several posts about the "bump" going away like bloat does before bumps actually come out.
I have a bump if I lay flat on my back first thing in the morning. Otherwise, it's all bloat and I'm 12w and a few days with #2.
(Also, remember it's bigger if you have to go to the bathroom too. People who are constipated will have bigger "bumps".)

I just looked bloated until about 16w. That was the same week I think that I gained my first pound.
I did wear maternity pants pretty early though, just to help with the bloat.
