DD can turn the knobs on our gas stove if it is already on. I am thinking about these knob covers but I don't usually like buying things with less than 4 stars. Are these my best option or is there something else I can do? Thanks.
One of the reviews said that once their kid noticed the shields, the knobs became even more interesting. I can totally see this happening in my house with DD. I don't think I'd get those...
We were considering getting the shield thing, but haven't yet.
Not sure of the setup of your kitchen, but I have to put a gate up in the entry to ours when I'm cooking because James can reach the range and open the oven. I haven't found a way to babyproof it that I am comfortable with.
A friend of mine had the shield and said her son figured out how to tear it off.
We have an open floor plan, it is impossible to block off the kitchen. I wish I could!
We have those and have yet to have a problem. But we do have oth entries into the kitchen gated off so he's not in there a lot. But he does pull on these and twist them and nothing's happened to them so far.
Oh good thanks.
And just to be clear, I don't leave the stove unattended. But I can't keep her out of the kitchen and I am also worried about her figuring out how to push the knob and turn it on herself.
We have those and they're fantastic! If he touches them out of curiosity, they just spin, but he very quickly lost interest. We give him a cupboard and drawer to play in and sometimes I lift him up just so he can see what I'm doing.
Take a chance. Take a risk. Take the initiative. Make your wishes a reality and make your dreams come true!

What else can I do? Knob covers are the only thing I can find.
ETA: I don't mind if DD is more interested as long as she can't DO anything with them.

Never thought of that! Thanks!

That's what we do as well!
Would they work for you?
