Need pumping help

Hi ladies 

My son will not latch so I am pumping every 2-3 hours so I can feed him. Problem is every pumping session I am losing milk because it is leaking out of the bottom of the flanges. I bought a bigger size but I still seem to leak out milk. It is so frustrating. Any advice on how to stop this? I am using a rented Medela lactina hospital grade pump. 

Any advice would be great.

    Are you sitting at an angle when pumping?Are your flanges to big maybe? I always try to sit up straight.

    Sit up straight or slightly forward.  Also, if you use something hands free, even if it's making your own out of a sports bra, it helps keep the flanges in place better.  All I ever lose now is stuff that is stuck on the flange when I take them off which is hardly anything.
