Help! Is this worth the deal??

I found a woman in Westminster who has a Brest Friend pillow. It's brand new (got it at a shower & doesn't need it). She selling it for $20. Problem is, I live near White Marsh.

Is an almost 1hr drive worth saving $20?

Between the schlep and the cost of gas, not in my book - but I'm not a fan of the My Brest Friend anyway. I wanted to like it - but clipping that thing around myself was just a pain in the butt. Long live the Boppy.

the toys r us on route 40 near security is going out of business. Call them and see if they have them in the store. I think the whole store is 30% off.

It has a flat edge along your stomach and clips onto you in the back. I never liked it half as much as the Boppy for BFing - and the Boppy has a hundred other uses, too.

That being said, a lot of women love the thing.

Thanks, ladies!! I have a Boppy, it rarely was used with D'. I was just looking into the MBF because so many people seem to like it because it straps around you. I'll just stick with the boppy for now & re-evaluate when #2 shows up if need-be!

That being said, I have an extremely girly one you can have for free. It has hot pink and lime green polka dots. I am pretty sure you can buy other covers if you are dead set on having a boyish one. It's not likely to be in a bunch of your baby pictures like a Boppy would.

I live in Hunt Valley, work in Woodlawn and DH works in Towson. I could arrange for pick up/drop off pretty much anywhere in north/central Baltimore County.

It's not worth it even if she was around the corner.

I had one of those and a boppy and never used the Breast Friend. It was a pain in the butt having to strap it around you.. the boppy is so much more convenient! and I felt more snug too

I'm pretty good with whatever! We work 9-5 in Tim & are in the WM/PH/P area otherwise. The only day I'm not in Tim until late is this Tues, I have to go downtown to a clinic for work until 12:30.

Ditto everyone else...I very actually rarely used a pillow anyways, but if I did, it was the boppy. Plus we use it all the time now to help DD practice sitting up.
