Does anyone feel like the next 20 weeks or so are going to drag?? I feel like the 1st half of my pregnancy flew, and now that we have found out the sex and I have felt the first movements... I feel like the next 20 weeks are going to go soooo slow!!! There are things I want to start getting together, but I feel like its to early for some of that. I guess I am just so excited to meet my Baby Girl, June seems like a lifetime away!! Anyone else feel the same way?
Re: Now that we are all at about the halfway point...
Now is the time to get stuff done. Let the time roll by, as long as I make good use of it, I'll be happy.
I'm the opposite of you, June is too close for me right now.
Yup!! The first 1/2 flew (I think Thanksgiving and winter holidays had something to do with it.) Now we get to deal with the cold, snow melting, colds, and waiting for it to get hot.
No wonder it'll drag!
I have a weird feeling this is going to continue to fly by.
As a teacher time tends to go uncontrollably fast and we have lots of family visiting before the birth so I think it will just seem slow but then be like... 'oh crap! I am in labor!'
If any of that made sense...
I do! And I honestly can't decide if I want it to fly by or slow down! I'm an FTM and June-July is the absolutel busiest time at my job- we work about 70hrs a week for 7 weeks so I am feeling a ton of anticipation and anxiety that I will be leaving for maternity leave at some point during that. But I am SO SO excited about meeting our sweet girl!
Is it really February this week!? AHH!
Yeah, I'm feeling that way. I know 3 or 4 people that have had babies in the last week or two - I'm so jealous! I want to be having my baby.
We still have stuff to do, but I still hope the time goes quickly.
I'm an avid gardener, so I'm trying to spend my time like I always do - wishing away the winter so I can get back to my gardens. Every year spring eventually comes, so hopefully it will this year too.
See I think the first 20 weeks is boring. You are sick, you are tired, you are fat but no belly, and you aren't feeling your baby.
The next twenty weeks you have a cute belly so everyone knows you are pregnant, you can find out the sex, you feel lots of movement, and you are hopefully feeling pretty good.
I am glad to have those last 20 behind and look forward to the last 20!
