Nightlight for Breastfeeding?

What do you all recommend? I want to be able to see the latch and get my supplies together but not wake my husband. Thanks!

This. But I also have a Scentsy warmer in my living room and the baby's room that are always plugged in and I use as night lights.

  • The Oxo "tooli" rechargeable nightight is awesome for this. Ours is yellow and casts a soft amber glow perfect for helping with nursing at night and peeking on LO in a cosleeper in the early days.

  • I used the light on the Itzbeen. Its also good for middle of the night diaper changes. Anything brighter than that would've woken me up too much to be able to fall back asleep.
  • I used a cheapo clamp light and hooked it on the bed. I bought a red light bulb for it. perfecto.

  • A dimmer switch on the bedroom light. It was perfect and now we just use it as nite lite in kids rooms.

  • A dimmer on the overhead light worked well for me, for both overnight nursing and diaper changes.
  • OXO Roomie. It's perfect! I plug it in by the bed and the nightlight part that is always on is very dim. Then the house part you carry to the nursery is the perfect orange or yellow glow. It has an off swith too, the charge lasts 8 hours if you want to leave it on, and it will be so cute for when shes older to take to bed with her. I LOVE IT! It's my new gift for every baby shower I go to.
  • A 15watt (or 25w) lightbulb in a regular lamp. Somebody gave me this suggestion when I had DS#1 (probably on thenest) and it has worked great for us. Its was nice in the nursery to be able to turn on for late night diaper changes. You'd be surprised how bright a 40 watt bulb is! We still keep a low wattage bulb in the lamp in DS's room (he's 3) because its so nice to be able to go in and turn on a little light to check on him.
Married June '03. DS born Jan '09. DD born Feb '12. No, we didn't choose to be childless for the first 6 years, only the first 3.
  • My iPad.  Im positive my son thinks I'm an angel since all his life he's seen me with this glow on my face as I surf the net over his head. :)
