I think after nearly 4 days, my swelling is beginning to go down. I'm praying anyways. My hands feel somewhat normal and my legs and feet have definitely gone down a bit. I'm really pray this isn't just a trend and it keeps going down. I still have to go in tomorrow since I've had a head ache off and on all weekend. It would be really wonderful to see a more normal BP tomorrow.

Did you have Pre-E? Your description of the BP issues sounds a lot like mine. I had it and was one of the 'lucky' ones that had the high BP hang on for awhile afterwards. I had the swelling too, but I was told that was more from the IV fluids I got during L&D than the Pre-E specifically. 4 days sounds about right for things to start unswelling.

Never had Pre-E or BP issues at all during pregnancy. The slightly elevated bottom number (70-91) happened while in the hospital. The swelling came while in the hospital after having her as well. It's not terrible high, but not good either. I had the IV of fluids ran, even though the few hours I was laboring with her, I was eating ice chips. Not sure what happened. Maybe because she came so fast it popped my BP up.
