I'm thinking of getting annual passes for the Children's museum but I'm not sure my toddler will really enjoy it? We need to start getting out of the house more so I was going to get this pass and a MN Zoo pass.
ETA: For the museum, is parking included in the pass?
Re: Would my 16 month old enjoy the Children's Museum?
DH and I took my then 15 month old Niece there a couple months ago and she seemed to enjoy herself. She was too young for a lot of the rooms, but there is a room there designed especially for younger children that we probably spent over an hour in.
Parking is included.
For the Children's Museum Parking is NOT included & it cost $4 for the first 3 hours & $1 for every 30mins after that (watch the clock time flies quickly)
For the zoo parking is included in the price of a membership.
MCM is great for all kids plus they have a great room just for kids under 3 (or it might be 4). We are planning on going there sometime this coming week.
My DD has gone at 12 months and 18 months. She enjoyed it both times. She loved the baby/toddler room. She had fun in the other rooms as well, but we had to watch her around the older kids so she didn't get hurt. We were planning on getting a membership for this winter, but haven't yet. I think we will when we take DD on her birthday next month. We have a zoo membership as well that we've used a ton in the last 9 months.
ETA: Parking is not included, the ramp isn't too expensive though. If you go on the weekends the meters on the street are free!
my read shelf:
We have memberships to both the MCM and the zoo, which we got when our older son was maybe 15 months old. At that age he couldn't do much more than the Habitot Room, but he loved it in there, so it didn't matter. Plus, with his nap schedule, we couldn't really spend more than an hour and a half there anyway. Parking is not included, but it's only $4 for the ramp. Parking is included in the zoo membership.
The MCM membership is a lifesaver in the winter. We were there literally once a week last year.

Absolutely! I love taking my girls just for the art room. So worth keeping the mess there and still having that experience.
We live close so we very rarely go over the 3 hours of parking for $4. And definitely go on Tuesdays because they don't allow groups. It is far less busy so she can enjoy all the areas without being limited to Habitot.
