I feel like such an idiot when I am not able to remember my blood type when the doctor or nurse asks me. I am pretty sure I am A something.. I have had the same blood type for all 36 years of my life, you would think I could remember something like that especially since there are only a handful of things that I could be. Just curious, do you know your blood type?

I have had losses too... and they tell me every time, and it still doesn't sink in. At least I know I dont need Rhogam. Maybe there is an issue with that part of my brain that remembers blood type. Hahaha.

I definitely know mine, but it's because i donate blood regularly when not pregnant. I don't think that everyone knows their own otherwise.

I know because I give blood a lot. I'm I negative and they call me all te time to give blood. Also it emwas a issue when I was pregnant last.

SS, I don't think it's uncommon to NOT know what your blood type is. They take blood to find out your type at your first appt. I didn't know mine until I became pregnant with my son. We all 3 have the same blood type, O+.

I have known mine since I started donating blood when I was 17. Because I am RH negative we needed to know DH's blood type and he had no clue what his was, so we had to have his blood typed.

Um, I'm on baby #3, pregnancy #4, they tell me every freakin time and I STILL for the life of me can not remember my blood type. A+... maybe?

My doctor would ask me at every single appointment we had with DD. He wanted to make sure I knew it, and now I definitely do!

B+ here. My mom told me I was type O because that's what she is and when I got my bloodwork done with DD, it came up B. We also did blood typing last week in my hematology class and learned how you get the blood type that you have and the different combos possible.

Oddly enough I don't know mine but I know my sister's is B-... she is special

lol.

Edit: I guess I should add I know mine is a "normal" type that is common.

I didn't know before my first pg,but I now know I am A-. I will always remember now b/c I am Rh- so I need the Rhogam shot. Good thing I got it, too, b/c DD has DH's A+ blood type.
