AW: I survived a 1st Birthday Party!

I had to go to a 1st birthday party today and I survived!!! The mom is even pregnant and due in April. 

Of course I was jealous, but it wasn't bad. There were lots of babies there too! I held two of them for the longest time, and played with them.... and I was good!! I might actually be starting to heal?

This isn't the first 1st birthday party I've been to... but it is the first 1st birthday party that I've stayed the whole time. The first time I saw them open gifts, and smash into the cake. I never stayed before because it was always too much.

*phew* I can now breathe. I've been on pins and needles all week knowing that this party was coming up. I'm glad it's over... and glad I survived.

    I'm so happy for you.  I just attended my niece's 2nd birthday party.  My SIL is also 24 weeks PG.  It was tough, but I made it through it.  I was jealous of my SIL, but also happy for her because she m/c last year at 6 weeks.  I think that making through a kid's birthday party is a sign of healing.

    Don't you feel like patting yourself on the back!? Haha! I had my BIL birthday last night and my SIL was there (she's 10wks along and already showing) and I actually brought up her pregnancy. I shocked myself :) I was so proud of myself!!

    Way to go Cashew!  I'm highly impressed, I don't think I'd be as strong.  You should be AWing, and very proud of yourself!
