I hate over-the-top childproofing, and I feel totally ridiculous looking for childproofing product recc's for my 2 1/2 year old.. but we have seriously got to invest in a fridge/freezer lock.
Girlfriend is in the fridge or freezer all.day.long and it is a) creating too many battles, b) screwing with her mealtime appetites, c) wasting food because if I turn my back for a second, she's tearing into another cube of cheese, opening another yogurt cup to be abandoned in some random place in the house, taking a single bite of another fruit/veggie, leaving frozen veggie bags in weird places...
I'm over it!
Anyone have a fridge lock they can recommend?
Re: fridge locks? {ugh}
Anderson's a pain about that, too. I once found an apple he'd taken out, chewed a couple chunks off of, and hid behind a couch cushion. Vom. We just use a $3 cabinet lock. Works perfectly!

Why didn't I think of that?! Thanks. We'll be making a trip to Target in the morning for (Starbucks and) a cabinet lock!

We have a drawer freezer at the bottom of the fridge and thick handles on the top of the fridge so the one MLF has wouldn't work for us.
How well does this work? We've got the freezer on the bottom too and we are having the same issues.
Works like a charm HSart!
For the bottom freezer: We put it on the edge and it wraps around the corner. Just pull it taught and see if you can still open the buckle, if not loosen it one or two ridges.
For the french doors: We just strapped it across the doors. That was a short lived interest luckily b/c that one was annoying for me to open
