My dd nurses for about 40 minutes which puts me up for at least an hour with her diaper change and getting her back to sleep. What's everyone else dealing with?

When my first was this age it was under 30 minutes and we didn't change his diaper unless it was absolutely necessary. However, he woke several times every night to eat.
My newest babe only wakes up once each night, and it's typically at 5:30 AM so not really night at all. She takes a good hour and a half to eat, burp, be awake for a while, eat some more etc etc and finally goes back to sleep at 7 or so and then sleeps for another 2-3 hours.
So it really depends on how often they're eating and the personality of the baby.
Anywhere from 1-2 hours. Approx 20 min each breast, plus waking him up periodically mid-nursing, burping, changing, etc. He eats every 3-4 hours, which means I can get snatches of sleep from 2-3 hours throughout the night.
He usually wakes up with a soaking wet or dirty diaper, so I change him, nurse him for about 20, he stops and I burp him, then he wants more and eats for another 10-15, then I burp him again and hold him until he falls back to sleep. I, however, have had no trouble falling back to sleep so far. The last four nights he's been feeding for an hour, sleeping for an hour, up again to feed for an hour, sleep for an hour -- last night he ate SEVEN TIMES (he is just over two wks old). Shoot.me.now. ...praying that this is a growth spurt and he'll go back to sleeping 3-4 hrs at a clip overnight.
Our little one is bottle fed. I have the bottles pre-made in the fridge. So she starts grunting I get up and put a mug in the microwave. Place the cold bottle in the mug, go get her and change her diaper. With all of that feeding and keeping her at a 45 degree angle for 30 minutes we are up for at least an hour.

Our "routine" if you can even call it that starts at about 10:00-11:00 pm of changing diaper, swaddling, and feeding. She then proceeds to cluster feed until the early hours of the morning with only nodding off for a few minutes at a time. I try putting her down several times. I rock her, put her in her swing and bouncer, but she won't stay calm for more than a couple minutes unless she is being breastfed. Last night she fell asleep before 4am and I felt like I won the lottery. Pediatrician says it sounds like her days and nights are backwards and she's going for a growth spurt, so hopefully it won't last long. It's been a week so far. Before she only stayed up until 1-2am cluster feeding and I thought that was bad then..I pray for it now.

Ditto this, but I hear you... it always takes me forever to fall back asleep too.
