Recently started looking into bouncers and swings and am loving the Fisher Price Snugabunny for both products. However, I've started to wonder if I really need both and should maybe purchase just one or the other.
For FTM's, what do you plan on purchasing? And for 2+ moms, did you buy one or both and feel that either one or both are must have products? Thanks for the input.
Re: Swing, Bouncer or Both? XP with N&BG
I like having both, they give baby something different to do.
You can also bring the bouncer into the bathroom to shower!

That's a good idea that I didn't even think of! I have a few friends that will be having a little one a few months before me, so it's not a bad idea to maybe try one out with my LO.
Both my boys HATED the swing. We tried one that was an expensive one that we borrowed (thank goodness) and another cheaper one. Neither worked for either boy. Within seconds the motion of it would make them scream.
They both LOVED the bouncer through. Both would just sit happily in for a while. It was great. I had one on our main floor and one up on the 2nd floor. I used them all the time.
Nursed without dairy, egg, soy, peanut, treenut, fish, shellfish or beef for over a year.
Currently tandem nursing dairy, egg, and shellfish free.
DS born via emergency c/s after 20 hrs of labor. DD successful VBAC!

Definitely a bouncy chair for all of the reasons above. We borrowed a swing and DS didn't like it.
I'm borrowing a swing this time around too.
I am registering for the swing and have four bouncers that I got from Target on clearance (two for each floor). My sons both loved the swing, so I'll get dos second one if both of these kids do too!
As for the bouncer, I would recommend a smaller/cheaper one. The snugabunny and lamb and those type are quite a bit larger than ones like the rainforest one, and aren't any better function wise for so much more money.
