DO any of you ladies have PCOS and BF? I'm not due for 2 months, but my mom is in town and we were talking. She has a patient who is a pactation consultant and said that because I have PCOS and my hormones are off, I may need to use a hospital grade pump to help maintain my supply. I'll be back at work after 4 months anyways, so I was planning on doing some pumping, I was just wondering if any of you have PCOS and have noticed supply issues.

My OB said I "probably" have PCOS (I don't have regular cycles and had to use Clomid for DD), and I have been bf'ing since DD was born with no problems. I had a little oversupply in the beginning to, but it's seemed to taper off a little, but I still get a little more than LO needs.
I went back to work when DD was 8 weeks and pump for her and get enough for her without a problem!
Oh - also, I pump 3X a day at work (8am-5pm) and use a Medela Pump In Style Advanced.
Best wishes!
This is the same for me.
