Squirming Baby

DS has recently started squirming, flailing his arms, and kicking his legs like crazy while nursing. Is this normal behavior? I don't know if he's playing, trying to get more milk, or what. Thanks

    Is he crying as well? If so, I would guess gas.

    No crying but he does grunt a lot.

    My son does that too.  He has reflux, so I am not sure if that is what causes it.  I think he does it when he is frustrated for whatever reason (reflux, forceful letdown, or the milk is coming too slow).

    Maybe it's a reflux thing then. DS has it too. But other than flailing around like a crazy baby, it's not too bothersome. I mean he's not acting like he's in pain. Although it does make nursing with a cover more difficult.
