when you store your pumped milk in the fridge, how much of the milk becomes the "cream" on top? Out of 3-4 oz mine is only about a cm worth & the rest is very watery & bluish when it separates.
That's what mine looks like too..I'm guessing it's normal as DD is gaining well and seems happy. If you are concerned, call a LC. Sorry, not really good advice! lol

Mine looks similar. As the babies get older, the cream will get thicker. When I quit with DS at a year, the cream was about 2 or 3x as thick as it is now at 2 months with DD.

All I do is pump and mine is the same. I put my bottle ina cup of hot water before giving it to Nixon and it is fine. i read some where not to shake it because it kills anti-bodies. Who knows if thats true! But I was shaking it before I was putting it in the cup before.
Re: question for those who pump
By thicker, I mean there will be more at the top.
yep, this
LCT - 5.15.14 ~ 9lbs, 22.5 inches
cream on top = fatty milk, good kind
dont shake, it breaks protein links.. there is a video on babycenter.com about it, very useful
Ha! This. And it's my second child. Poor DD #1!
