DS has had green poop the past two days and I read that this can symbolize a foremilk/hindmilk imbalance. (Prior to this his poops have been yellow/mustardy). My question is, how do I correct this? He is a slow nurser...he usually nurses a half hour on both sides. I use a shield so I am able to see that he is still getting milk at a half hour. I never pull him off...usually about the half hour mark he pulls himself off the first side (at which time I'm able to see milk in the shield). I burp him and then switch him to the other side. He usually ends up falling asleep by a half hour on the second side (I tickle his feet, touch his cheek/chin). Any thoughts on what I can do to ensure he is getting the hindmilk? Thank you!

This exactly. And my pediatrician added only to worry about green poop if there are chunks in it that look like shredded lettuce.
