Mid cycle spotting

In my last 2 cycles I have had mid cycle spotting.  I have read that it may be a sign of low progesterone.  When would you ask your doctor about it?  I don't have an appointment with my Dr. until April, but I was thinking I should call and make an appointment sooner.  Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Dx: PCOS/Unexplained
July '13 - Mar '14 - Letrozole and TI - BFN
April '14 - HSG - All clear - Letrozole, Trigger and IUI - BFP
May '14 - Miscarriage 5w 3d
July '14 - Letrozole, Trigger and IUI - BFN

Aug '14 - Letrozole, Trigger and IUI - BFN

Sept '14 - Letrozole, Trigger and IUI - BFP

    Are you being monitored while on Clomid?

    My RE always did a P4 draw at 7DPO to check progesterone.....

    I'm not on clomid yet.  My Dr. wants to do an HSG and then start clomid in April if I am not pregnant before then.  Right now all I am on is Met.  Sorry if my siggy is confusing.

    I would ask.  It can't hurt.  Plus, if they test now they'll be able to tell whether the clomid helps your progesterone production later on.
