We've been doing 3 meals a day for about 2 months...we were having weight gain issues, so this was per the pedi's recommendation. They eat at 8:30, 12:30, snack at 4 and dinner at 5:30, along with bottles at 4a, 7a, 11a, 2p, 5p and 7p. I have no idea if I am doing this right, or not, and it certainly feels like I feed these kids all day long, but they are gaining weight appropriately, so that is what we do!

Re: solids at 9 months
We started the transition at 9 months to 3 "meals" a day - Pedi wanted them on 3 meals by 10 months.

We've been doing 3 meals for over a month now, I think they were like 7 or 7.5 months when we switched to three.
