Question about beta

This is my 2nd cycle but only the first getting to the beta stage.  Hubby would like to hear the results for good/bad...

For those that have had their beta bloodwork, when did you get your results?  While you were at the office or did you get a call with the results later?

    I don't go for a beta unless I get a positive HPT.  If I went before 9am, I'd get the results back around noon. Otherwise, I get the results around noon the next day.

    I always get my results the same day, usually in the afternoon. 

    **PAIF/SAIF Welcome**
    TTC #1 March 2010 - Nov 2012
    Me: 29, PCOS (anov), Hashimoto's Disease // DH: 30, normal SA
    3 Clomid, 1 Clomid/Menopur, 1 Menopur w/ TI (CX 4x's due to cysts) - All BFN
    1 Clomid/Menopur, 2 Menopur, 1 Follistim w/ IUI - All BFN
    RPL & Karyotype testing normal

    IUI #5 (12/1/12) --> Follistim + 1/3 hCG Trigger = BFP! EDD: 8/23/13
    Betas --> 61 (13dpo) // 156 (16 dpo) // 223 (18dpo) // 656 (21 dpo)
    U/S --> 5w0d - sac seen // 6w0d - hb detected // 7w0d - hb seen and heard, measuring 6w6d!
    8w6d - wiggly baby! // 9w3d - wiggly baby with fingers!

    as long as the blood draw is before 11am at my clinic... I would get a call around 1-2pm in the afternoon
    TTC #1 Since 4/2010, Cycle 30
    Positive for HLA-B27, I'm a mutant :p
    Testing - Me ok, gluten issue? DH - borderline count, low motility
    4/28/11 IUI#1 = BFP!(5/25), EDD 2/2/12 - m/c 5w3d
    7/3, 7/31, 9/25 - IUI#2-4=BFN
    IVF#1 - 1 blast = BFP!! (12/30), EDD 9/9/12, confirmed c/p 4w2d
    FET#1 3/2/12 - 2 blasts =BFP!! EDD 11/18/12, us#1 = twins! Confirmed m/c 5w6d
    4/20-surprise BFP and another c/p 4w2d
    FET#2 7/16/12 - 2 blasts = BFN
    FET#3 8/20/12 - 1 blast - BFP!! Beta #1-2=177, 354
    1st u/s 5w6d, one beautiful little HB :), 2nd u/s 146bpm
    baby girl born 5/10/13

    TTC#2 since 12/17/2014, Cycle 8
    Repeat Testing...FSH=12, AMH=3.8, AFC=28. 
    IUI#5 5/10/15- c/p?
    IVF#2 8/19/15 - cancelled due to cysts
    IVF#2 take two 10/2015 - 5 blasts frozen
    FET#4 12/11/2015 - BFN - 4 blasts remaining
    FET#5 2/18/16 - BFP!!!  Beta1-3, 126, 250, 745!!

    HHmm, I wasn't given a choice about coming for a beta.  But then, even though I O regularly, I never get a positive result on OPK.  So maybe that's why.

    If I were you, I would POAS with DH tomorrow morning (since it's Sunday) so you both can see if two lines pop up together.  And if your RE has weekend hours call immediately for a beta/blood draw.  If you or your DH have to work then request that they leave a voicemail on your cell phone with the results so you can listen to the message together (if he's not with you when they call - be it Sunday or Monday).

    TTC since July 2009. Dx MFI & LPD.

    Saw heartbeat twice before missed M/C at 8w3d on 12/27/13, missing my little angel boy
    JUNE 2014 IVF#2;  5R, 2M, 1F Three day transfer 6/7.  Beta 6/18 - BFN

    We do/are doing our Beta's on the weekend at the hospital, the results take a few hours, then you can call and get the results on your own, with husband there.  Good Luck.  I couldn't do it any other way.

    I go in for b/w at 9:30 and get a call usually between 12-4.

    My RE does a beta 14 days after my IUI.  It doesnt matter if I start bleeding or dont get a +HpT.  He wants the beta done anyway.  I prefer this too.  I would not have known about my first c/p if I didt have the beta done.

    DX: PCOS/Recurrent losses/MTHFR mutation (compound hetero)
    5 hysteroscopies/2 surgical
    3 Inject IUIs = 2 m/c's and 1 BFN
    IVF #1= BFP. m/c at 7w6d. Needed 2 D&C's and scar tissue removal. Mild OHSS
    IVF #2 = BFP. Severe OHSS. 4 Drainings. TWINS!
