So I just got home yesterday from spending the night in L&D thanks to my gall bladder full of stones. (story below) Welp my gall bladder is starting to act up again and I havent even eaten anything that would cause it to act up. Im really nervous because I do not want to have surgery, let alone while Im pregnant. Hopefully the pain will start to go away here shortly and if not I will be headed back to have to nasty little bugger removed. Im so nervous and I have never been put to sleep and I think that is what I am most afraid of! UGH why does my body hate me so much???

Re: My freaking gall bladder hates me!
I would be freaked out, too! I hope it calms down and stops hurting.
Just as a side note, I did have surgery (when I was 6), and it wasn't too bad to be put under and I was little and scared. Certainly doing it pregnant sounds frightening, but I'm sure your doctors will take the best care of you and baby. If it needs to be done before the baby is here, they'll do it. If it can wait, they'll wait.
Try to relax (I know, yeah right).
Thoughts, prayers, and hugs!
I was told to eat a low fat diet and since I was on a liquid diet to slowly introduce solid bland foods. Well I had a plain english muffin for breakfast and was fine, then had some plain noodles for lunch and I am in pain again. Hopefully it wont last too long I really dont want to risk having this baby this weekend he is too little.
Wholefoods and a lot of grocery stores now carry gluton free products... pasta bread even cakes. I only mention this because you said you ate noodles and I know gluton was one of the main things that was crucifying my stepdaughter who suffers with colitis... it took a while before they could pinpoint her problems and she was tested for allsorts IBS, Crohns etc... it may or may not help but I don't think it would hurt to try some gluton free pasta and see if that is less agressive on yoru system.
