Wasting time and energy

So, I accidentally posted this to my month board, which makes me even more of a gossip, but I'm so mad I spent time and energy worrying about BattieNattie and her babies.  I found her blog initially through ivillage, not the bump under the username onesunnydee. I haven't checked there in a long time, but went back and there is no mention of her ordeal anywhere on that site.  She's a moderator there on pregnant after 40 and she posted belly pics while she was supposedly in the hospital.  Ugh!

    I hear ya! I was really worried about her too..... guess I was fooled.

    I get annoyed enough with myself if I feel like I'm spending too much time on TB, versus doing things I need to with DS, around the house, working, etc.... I'm trying to come on here to learn things, not get sucked into time wasting drama....

    oh well.

    so wait, she wasn't pregnant with triplets there? or the PTL ordeal is what wasn't mentioned?

    and why would she be a moderator of pregnant after 40 when she's supposedly 27?

    Nothing makes sense, but yes she's pregnant with triplets there, just no hospital or cerclage mentioned (that I could find).  Just random posts (one about someone else's cerclage) during the time of her hospitalization.  I'm not much of a private eye, so I could have missed something or made a mistake, but I'm 99% sure both onesunnydee and BattieNattie both linked to the same blog as their own at one point.

    Her blog first entry said they put the wand on her stomach at 6 weeks.  Um yeah lost me there.  Sure you might be able to eek out a dim little gestational sac trans-abdominal but no one with a clue would ever attempt it.

    I found Onesunnydee on iVillage, but I didn't see a link to a blog anywhere. Maybe since I'm not a member of iVillage, I'm missing something? That poster is very different from Nattie. She's due in June, over 40, has a kid already.... Other than being pregnant with trips, there aren't any connections. I'm really curious if they are both characters from the same person.

     

    I'm  going to feel awful if I've accused someone on ivillage in error, but I could swear that that was the person whose story I followed early on that linked to the infamous blog (that's now back on line).  I probably will walk away from this topic now since It's been a couple of months since I read the ivillage stuff and could be having an issue with pregnancy brain!

    I've been keeping up with the blog, and had bookmarked it, but it seems to have been removed.  If it was MUD, maybe she was embarrassed and took it down, if not MUD, then I hope everything is OK with the babies.  And that she didn't get upset that people thought it was MUD.  I almost hope it was fictional...I hate the idea of anyone going through so much!
