I started Clomid again for the first time since 2010 after a break. My Dr. immediately put me on Clomid 150mg days 2-9. Has anyone had success with this dosage?
Thank you in advance for advice/support and stories.
My RE prescribed Clomid 200 mg CD 3-9 and I ovulated well on it. I was not given this dosage until I worked my way up to it and he made certain that the lower doses didn't work for me. You definitely need to be monitored while on Clomid. I'm not sure if you're already seeing a RE, but I would recommend it! GL!
I have to ask the same question as the previous ladies: are you being monitored? 200mg is a lot of Clomid... I'm not saying that that isn't what you need, but if you aren't being monitored then you could end up being the next octomom.
To answer your original question, Clomid in any dosage did squat for me. Hoping that you get a much better response! GL!

Hello ladies. I have taken Clomid in the past. The last dosage I took was days 3-8 and that was my 4th cycle on Clomid, this was the only time I ovulated. Again, I did take a two year break.
I am seeing a fertility specialist due to PCOS and he wanted to give me the best chance of ovulating before we try injectables. I have an ultrasound scheduled this week.
Re: Has anyone had success taking Clomid Days 2-9?
I usually don't have monitoring appts until CD 4/5, so I'm a CD 5-9 girl
When you say DR....do you mean OB/GYN?
I have never ever ever seen anyone take 8 days of Clomid
